The John Leslie Art Prize is a biennial acquisitive landscape Art Prize held at Gippsland Gallery. The prize was inaugurated in 2000 and is named after John Leslie OBE (1919-2016).
The prize is open to any artist living and working in Australia and is worth $20,000.
We are proud to report that three Manyung Gallery represented artists; Min-Woo Bang, Debbie Mackenzie, and Paul Waycott, are represented in this years list of finalists.
Over the coming weeks in the lead up to the prize, we will be publishing a small blog post about each of these artists. Stay tuned to learn about their practice, and to discover what inspired the works that have earned them their position as finalists.
