We are excited to present our upcoming exhibition 'Connection to Place' with Jane Canfield and BK Ku at Manyung Gallery Mount Eliza.
Jane Canfield is a highly acclaimed and collected artist based in the Blue Mountains, NSW. Through her masterful brushstrokes of reduction and tonal exploration, Jane's mesmerising paintings masterfully capture the play of light and atmosphere in the Australian landscape. This is her third major exhibition at Manyung Gallery.
Originally from Korea, BK Ku is now based in the Blue Mountains. We are thrilled to present his first exhibition with Manyung Gallery. His work incorporates the use of Hanji, a traditional Korean paper made from mulberry bark. He uses this ancient medium to add a delicate yet powerful layer of authenticity to his beautiful and subtly expressive landscapes, with the intricate texture of this paper shining through in his work.
Both artists draw endless inspiration from the serene beauty of the landscape. We invite you to come along and view these truly special works.
We are also delighted to feature in the gallery, new sculptures by Brigit Heller and jewellery by Mary Odorcic.
