"This work features a Chanel bag of a gorgeous buttery yellow colour. I can imagine this bag with matching buttery yellow Chanel suit or with jeans and a black Chanel jacket and steeple high stilettos. And wouldn’t it be special if the little Silver Eye bird was an added accessory.
Silver Eyes are regular visitors to our Australian Country garden. They are tiny birds who love hopping around in family groups on the grass where they somehow blend in with their yellow green plumage. One of their favourite spots is in what we call the Bird Bath Garden. They fly down at around midday to hop around the rim of the bird bath and take little splashy swims to clean their feathers. The white circle around their eyes is so white it flashes like silver in the sunlight. I spend quite a bit of time sitting in my bird watching chair near this garden watching them."
