Based in N.S.W, artist John Giese's new body of work is a collection of wild dogs, bulls, cows and other symbols of primal power and presence.
"In my practice I am responding to the primary motifs as real, gradually enticing life, light and movement into the work". The spontaneity of his brushstroke sustains each piece as alive, free and constantly moving.
John has extensively exhibited around Australia and has worked on public art projects with the Maclean and Lismore Shire Council, N.S.W.
John will be speaking about his new series on Saturday 15th February, 3pm and will be open to answering questions about his career and practice.
