We are thrilled to invite you to Manyung Gallery Malvern for a breathtaking exhibition, ‘Cradle Mountain, The Bay of Fires and Beyond,’ featuring the extraordinary works of Carole Foster.
Join us on Saturday, August 3rd, from 10am to 3pm, for a special opening event where you can meet Carole Foster in person. Enjoy old-fashioned scones, jam, and cream as you share your own Tasmanian and outback adventures.
Through her masterful brushwork, Carole captures the soul of Tasmania and the outback, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of discovery and find solace in the raw beauty of nature. This latest collection is a result of Carole tirelessly exploring Australia’s hidden corners, continually drawing inspiration and finding new sources of creativity. Her art serves as a testament to the resilience and grandeur of this ancient land, while also raising awareness about the importance of preserving its fragile ecosystems.
Carole's ability to capture the vibrant colours and dramatic living forms of Australia has earned her a place amongst the most celebrated landscape artists of her generation. Her art and her stories seamlessly blend a deep understanding of the natural world with a profound emotional connection.
Born and raised in Wangaratta, Carole showed a flair for drawing and painting at an early age and always had a penchant for adventure. Carole’s family lived on the outskirts of town and she couldn’t wait to leave and so started her travels at a young age. Carole has lived in New Zealand, Norfolk Island, England, Finland, Holland, and Germany, using these countries as a base to travel and to acquire knowledge and develop her skills for her inspirational paintings.
We warmly invite you to join us in celebrating the opening of ‘Cradle Mountain, The Bay of Fires and Beyond’ and to experience the breathtaking beauty of Carole Foster's artwork.
