Manyung Malvern presents John Lendis “Luminescence”. In this series, Lendis explores our relationship with the natural world, our interior and exterior self. The exquisite detail in his works produces an emotional connection to the viewer and his subjects, highlighting the physical environment in which his subject inhabits and emotional landscape they invoke. By using rich oils, and playing with varied light and shadow, he creates dream like scenes that transfix the viewer.
