"So many of us feel our energy has been zapped into oblivion this year. The simple process of enjoying or interacting with our environment - eg. the ocean, waves, renewed plant and wildlife - has, in my personal experience, the ability to renew that needed energy."

Miertje's art is energetic and entrancing, full of intricate details that will keep you lingering and wanting to explore her paintings for years to come.
