The Ocean Bed series is inspired by the alluring patterns emerging from the ever changing ocean floor. This series is primarily a textural exploration of metal. I love to be in the water every opportunity I get. The beach opposite my home, Scarborough Beach, is predominantly a surf beach, so for the most part there is little evidence of marine life. However, the soft white sandy bottom lends itself as a canvas to the forces of the ocean creating spectacular seascapes.
