These large woodblock print, abstract in form and uncomfortable in composition with double meanings in their titles, are comments on weather and war. Both have the force of destruction, both can / could be avoided. We hold that power. But.......!
I do not live near the ocean, nor in a forest or amidst the mountains. I live in the city. What I see are the urgent pleas and protests and a dismissive population not wishing to engage in the reality confronting them.
