"This body of work juxtaposes the organic beauty of the natural world against the precision of human-made technology. Luminous, translucent and ethereal web-like patterns and forms glow in the darkness, emphasising the fragility of our environment and suggesting that these delicate structures could easily be disrupted or destroyed.
Artificial Flowers raises questions about the role of technology in our lives and its potential consequences. As the destruction of our environment progresses, we risk a reality where the vibrant, dynamic ecosystems that once thrived are reduced to mere digital memories. This work urges us to reflect on the choices we make and our impact on the natural world, highlighting the urgent need to protect and preserve the Earth's biodiversity and beauty before it is irreparably lost."
