"This work features an exquisite Chanel bag embellished with the most magnificent gem and pearl clasp. The traditional quilted leather is the Chanel give away. Who wouldn’t feel very special with this beauty threaded through their arm and walking in for lunch with the girls at somewhere very swish.
One of my favourite birds, the Rufus Whistler has decided he looks just right perched withing the circular handle of the bag. At any moment he will open his little beak and sing us the most charming song. The Rufus Whistler is a visitor to our Australian country garden from early Spring to early Autumn. It is a happy day when I am working away in my studio, and I hear the first song. For a bird with such bright breast plumage, they are quite hard to spot in the trees. But the long serenade makes tracking them down for a closer look a bit easier. They are a perfect joy."
