Ruth studied art at the N.A.S. Sydney 1968-1972 and completed the Graduate Diploma of Visual Arts, COFA Sydney 1991.
“It was in returning to Australia that I came to realise this geography does not surrender itself easily to interpretation. To see this country – to allow it to show itself – requires an intimate eye, one that matures after returning to a place again and again. In doing so, the viewer becomes poised for moments of accidental discovery where beauty and meaning are revealed.” Ruth 2014
Ruth has had many solo exhibitions and been in many selected group exhibitions.
Ruth lives in the Blue Mountains just west of Sydney in NSW, Australia.
