Vanessa Ferriggi

Vanessa is a Mornington Peninsula based, abstract expressionist, who’s preference is for acrylic paints on canvas, but also leans towards mixed media with use of impasto, spray, oil stick and graphite. She is a self taught artist, who has always had a creative drive, thanking her parents for immersion in many artistic experiences since childhood. Vanessa’s ‘Joie de Vivre’ is evident in all her artworks, as she shares beauty, striving to evoke a passionate response. Her message is one of strength, resilience and boldly embracing life.

Vanessa is a finalist in the Omnia Art Prize 2024, Art To Art Unearthed Art Prize 2024 and 2022 and winner Yogat Art Prize, 2022.

Vanessa is represented by galleries across Australia. She is currently working on a new collection, embracing her love of feminine abstract botanicals.
