"In my work one step informs the next step and so on. Push, Pull, Edit and I work from the heart and mind intuitively. I do not paint the things I see but how I feel about what I see. Every single move is inadvertently political and personal as I dig deeper into my psyche and into the painting at hand. Music, Dance, my husband, and my children are all at play with every single work. Every move a risk, every move being observed as I search for the kindred, my people with whom we resonate. My life and art is one."
