Jaksen is an artist, sculptor and an art and film director. But most importantly he is a husband and a father. Jaksen believes that energy is everything in life and that it's built up and curated by who and what we surround ourselves with. Friends, family, art, music, food, adventure etc.
Growing up with an internationally celebrated Artist and former Creative director for a mother who has been his "closest friend and life inspiration" it was somewhat inevitable that Jaksen would find himself in the world of art and storytelling also. Creating worlds, adventuring imaginary kingdoms was a usual afternoon as a boy. This lifelong spark of energy born from a childhood where creativity, love and energy ruled.
Jaksen’s works are embodiments of this energy, bright, playful, naive, adventurous. Using an electric mix of mediums and a borrowed talented hand of his 1 1/2 year old son Eddie, his works are usually unplanned and created while listening to an eclectic mix of music that plays a big influence into the direction of each piece.
