Biography:

Australian born in 1972 with a Hungarian heritage.

"I have been painting professionally for 20 years. I use palette knife and brush to create my artwork. Most of my paintings have a strong trademark which is the use of genuine English bronze powder, mixed with a special oil medium creating liquid gold which I then apply either by using a palette knife or I tint the area with the real bronze. I also love to add small parts of acrylic paint to create tension with the oil paint that give special effects of moving water or sand.

I studied art and design at Swinburne University and completed a diploma of Interior Design at RMIT. My inspiration comes from many sources. I grew up on the Boulevard in Kew near the Yarra River so playing by the river and having beautiful bushland as our back yard was something that influences many of my paintings.

The beach is where I feel the most calm and centred. I love lakes and rivers. I use photos as initial inspiration however once mapped out I use my imagination to create my artworks which organically evolve as opposed to constant reference to the photo."
