Kim Kennedy Description

Born in Melbourne, Kim Kennedy’s artistic career as a contemporary artist began in 1982. Initially Kim’s art took form in metal sculptures and culminated with a commission by the Australian Tourism Association. The sculpture stands 7 metres tall and is on permanent display at the Associations Canberra Office.

After the success of his sculptures Kim began painting with oil on canvas and discovered his true passion. Painting is now Kim’s primary focus. October 2000 saw the creation of a permanent gallery of Kim’s work at Bentley, Manhattan, New York.
