Manyung Gallery will be hosting a day full of fun art inspired activities. Show casing three exhibitions – Salvage: Recycled and mixed media art, Family and Big Art highlighting local and international talent. The gallery will have free coffee, beer tasting with Mornington Brewery, live music, chill out zones, fun children’s art activities, live painting and plenty of specials on the day. Salvage: Recycled and mixed media art

This exhibition explores the creative potential of re-using and recycling disused products to create something beautiful and inspiring. Putting some of our most creative and salvage friendly artists to the task with the likes of Colin Hyett, Charles Wilcox, Rob Davey, Kim Kennedy, Debbie Moroney, Kirrily Anderson and more. These artists are utilizing sculpture, painting, print and found objects to inspire us with their stories.

Family: Eva Armisen, Meredith Gaston & Janine Daddo

An exhibition celebrating family and the joy of relationships through the endearing works of Eva Armisen, Meredith Gaston and Janine Daddo. Each artist, in their own unique way, delve into the joy that can be found in everyday moments that can easily be taken for granted. As part of the exhibition on the day, we will have some fun art activities for your family to enjoy together, inspiring the next generation of budding artists.

Big Art

Some things are just better big – and Manyung Gallery has some amazing artists whose work just improves with scale. We will be showcasing many large-scale works, both paintings and sculpture, that need to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. We will have live painting throughout the day by some of our master painters, the likes of Stewart Westle, Monica Adams, Carole Foster, Craig Penny, Billy Nye and Marek Wilinski so you can gain a full understanding of the skill level it takes to create these Big Art works.
