Biography:

Feyona van Stom has lived and worked in Hong Kong, America and Australia. Studied painting in Connecticut, USA and in Sydney, Australia. Received the Diploma in fine arts and won the Sculpture prize at Seaforth college of Fine Arts, Sydney in 1994.

Artworks are in collections in America, South America, Canada, Europe and the UK, in China and Japan as well as in Australia and New Zealand and Africa.

Northbridge Art prize – Feyona won an award for her sculpture in the Northbridge art prize.
Spring Equinox – Feyona’s sculptures were part of a group exhibition at the Palm House in the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney during September, again with son Willem.
Sculptor Society exhibition at Darling Park – Feyona exhibited her sculptures at Darling Park with the Sculptors society where they were shown with over 200 other sculptures in a fabulous setting. Her son Willem also exhibited his sculptures.
Feyona donated a sculpture to the Black & Silver charity Ball for research into cancer
World Youth Day in Sydney – Feyona organised an exhibition of religious paintings and sculptures at Aloysius school for the World Youth Day celebrations and also helped with workshops.

gallery41 – Feyona has opened a new contemporary art gallery in Woolloomooloo at 41 Riley street, in the city of Sydney. She exhibits her own sculptures and paintings in the gallery along with selected artists works in a variety of media – sculptures, paintings, drawings and pottery.
2007 ARTSYDNEY 07 Feyona exhibited works with Kathrin Longhurst and Nadia Turner at Sydney’s premier art fair 26-28th October at the Royal Hall of Industries in Moore Park.
2007 Art party – Feyona organised an art party for doctors’ offices in York street, displaying her own paintings and sculptures as well as the paintings and sculptures of her gallery artists.
2005 – 2007 SOFA New York – Feyonas sculptures were part of SOFA (The International Exhibition of Sculptures, Objects and Functional Art) for the 3rd year, exhibiting with MEK gallery, held in the 7th Regiment Armory at 67th street and Park Avenue, N.Y.
